Message I was reading a thread further down below about the the HOWE radiator and thought there needs to be some clarification on the subject. Let me give you a little history lesson on the entire subject.

A few years back some one bought a Mustang HOWE radiator from performance autobodies that needed to have the inlet/outlet pipe re-angled and resized to fit the Z. This was approximately 189 and there was a group buy on it for 169. Mark Jackson and Myself could not find someone here in Vegas to re-weld the radiator for us. So we went in search of someone to make a custom radiator that would be almost a direct drop-in to the Z. We found someone to make the radiator for us. We decided to spent our own money to actually get the LARGEST possible radiator in the car. Then we decided to sale the radiator to the rest of the forums memebers, because at the time there was no real larger radiators that were essentially drop-in.

The radiator that we and GINN Motorsports sales is NOT the HOWE Mustang Radiator. It is a fully custom radiator that happens to use a HOWE core. Our manufacturer happens to work with HOWE and distribute their products, and builds custom race radiators.

Let me just tell you after a long lengthy talk with the guy that builds our radiators, I would not trust my engine to any other radiator. HOWE racing has been around for many years and has spent tons of money building VERY efficient radiator cores.

A few Items to consider when buying a radiator:
OWhat type of brazing process is used?
Tube to fin contact (this is the key to the radiator)
Alloy of Material (If not good, is more prone to corrosion)

Most of the Radiators manufactured overseas do not use quality materials, and their brazing process is not as good as HOWE, and the tube to fin contact may not be as tight as it should be. Now some people are going to think I am bad mouthing the Koyo, I am NOT, I have not seen one up close and can't tell you what the quality is. I am basing my last statements on what I have seen in my research of radiators. But I can tell you that the the Custom Radaitor we sale does have more capacity than the Koyo. That is the only comparison I can make.

When I put it on in the 115 degree weather in Vegas, I did not see temps of over 200 in the summer while running AC.

Just so you know the Exact Core (same size radiator) that is used on the 300zx is cooling a 1000HP hill climbing truck.

Mark, Chip, and Myself have sold tons of radiators to Forum memebers and have had ZERO complaints with them.

Any other questions let me know.

Thanks,
Aaron
